The Aqua-Bound Whiskey Fiberglass Paddle is a less expensive alternative to the Whiskey carbon paddle. Just because this is a lower price-point does not mean that it is not still a high-quality paddle. The Whiskey Fiberglass paddle comes in three different versions. On the straight shaft versions, the shaft is constructed from T-700 carbon, allowing for a light and durable shaft. On the bent shaft version, the shaft is constructed out of 3K Plain Weave carbon, providing the paddler with a strong and lightweight shaft. The blades on this paddle are the same beefy blades that come with the Whiskey Carbon paddle, but these ones are constructed from compression-molded multi-laminate fiberglass resin and a lightweight interior core. This construction allows the paddle to come in three different eye-popping colors All three versions of this paddle are equipped with the patented Posi-Lok ferrule system.
